Housed within an impact resistant IP 65 ABS enclosure, these robust, steel encased mercury switches are rated at 10 amps 230V ac, and can provide direct switching of single phase pumps and control equipment during fire valve closure.

A three phase, 440V ac version is available, utilising a 10 amp 230 V ac mercury switch and contactor, again housed within a high impact ABS enclosure.

Mercury switch assemblies are supplied complete with mounting bolts, and all FEL Free Fall Fire Valve levers are pre drilled to accept a mercury switch, even after valve installation.

The mercury switch enclosure is drilled to accept an M20 gland, and electrical terminals are 2.5²mm, marked as follows:

1 Earth
2 Common
3 Load
4 Alarm
